I specialize with individuals, couples, and families that are experiencing distressing situations/conditions, have experienced trauma, and I assist in preventative work. I believe that you are not "broken" and as we work together on an individualized plan, solutions can be formulated and achieved. Through the process, you can develop the skills and tools that will assist you to deal with past, current, and future situations. People can learn to love themselves, heal from past traumatic experiences, learn how their mind responds to situations, and move forward to achieve their goals. You can be the person you desire to be. I work with adolescents and adults addressing many issues: trauma, pornography addictions, behavioral and substance addictions, depression, anxiety, anger and more. I work with adults on similar issues. As a hypnotherapist I assist others in dealing with: sports performance, weight loss, academic performance, smoking cessation and more. We can use many different approaches, based on what "fits best" with you, including Cognitive Behavioral, which addresses how our thoughts affect our feelings and actions; we can use Internal Family Systems, to see why it is difficult to make decisions. As a hypnotherapist, I also assist you in making lasting internal change.
